Permissions and privacy
What a connected AI assistant can see on your ProTransfers account, what you approve, what ProTransfers records, what your assistant's provider stores, and how to disconnect.
A connected assistant sees only what you approve, everything it can do is read-only, and you can disconnect it at any time from either side. This page spells out exactly what that means.
What you approve
When you connect an assistant, ProTransfers shows you a page listing what it is asking for, and nothing is shared until you click Allow. Today there are two permissions:
- View your orders — Order status, items, totals and tracking for orders on this account.
- View your artwork and its print assessment — Artwork saved to this account, and what our analysis found about how it will print at a given size.
An assistant that asks for nothing specific is offered both. Both are read-only; there is no permission that lets an assistant change anything.
What it can do today, and what's coming
What it can do today
Find and explain your orders
Status, items, totals, the estimated ship and delivery dates set when you ordered, and tracking once there is some — in the same words your account page uses.
Open one order in detail
Every piece on it with its size, quantity and price, where it is, and anything waiting on you — a proof being prepared, an approval owed.
Show a design you've bought
A preview of a piece on one of your orders, so you can check which design it is. A preview, not the print file.
Find a file in your artwork library
Everything saved to your account, ordered or not, by name or tag — and whether each one has been ordered before.
Tell you whether a file will print sharp at a size
The resolution verdict at the width you have in mind, how large it stays sharp, and what our analysis found about edges, colour and feel.
Coming soon
Everything waiting on you, across all your orders, in one answer
Upload a file from the conversation and get its print check
Build a cart and hand you a checkout link
Reorder a previous job
Whatever it learns to do, it never approves a proof, never pays, and never hands over your original or print-ready file. Those stay yours, signed in.
What it can see
| Area | What the assistant can read |
|---|---|
| Orders | Order number, status, the items with their sizes and quantities, the amount you paid, the estimated and actual ship and delivery dates, and the tracking number once the order ships. |
| Addresses | Your ship-to and billing addresses — only when you ask for an order's full details, not in lists or summaries. |
| Artwork | The names of your saved files, a preview image, the file type and pixel size, and the print assessment from our artwork analysis at a size you name. Previews are thumbnails, not print files, and are shown only for designs you have bought. |
It cannot see your password or your payment methods, and it cannot see any ProTransfers account other than the one you signed in with when you approved it.
Disconnecting
Two places, and either one works:
- In the assistant, remove the ProTransfers connector from its own settings. Each connect guide shows where.
- On ProTransfers, open Account → Security → Connected apps and click Disconnect next to the assistant. This withdraws the approval itself.
Disconnecting takes effect immediately. Your orders and your account are not affected, and you can connect again at any time.
What ProTransfers records
For each connection, ProTransfers records which assistant connected, which kinds of question it asked, and when. It never records the conversation itself: the question you typed and the answer you read stay between you and your assistant. These records exist for support, so we can see what happened when something goes wrong, and to prevent abuse.
What your assistant's provider stores
Your assistant's provider stores your conversation under its own terms, and that conversation includes whatever the assistant fetched from ProTransfers — order details, amounts, addresses if you asked for them, artwork previews. Choose an assistant you would trust with your order history, and read its data terms the way you would for any other service you hand your records to.
Training
ProTransfers does not use anything an assistant reads — your orders, your artwork, your questions — to train anything. ProTransfers is a transfer printer, not an AI company. What your assistant's provider does with your conversation is governed by its terms, not ours.
Why it can never approve or pay
This is deliberate, not a gap. Approving a proof on ProTransfers is bound to your typed name on the order page, so nothing other than you, on that page, can give it. Payment happens in your own signed-in checkout. A connected assistant can report that an approval is owed and link you to the page, but it never decides for you. Your assistant is a window into your account, not a hand on it.
