Connect Claude Code

Add the ProTransfers connector to Claude Code with one terminal command, sign in through your browser, and ask about your orders and artwork without leaving the terminal.

Add the ProTransfers connector to Claude Code with one command, sign in through your browser, and Claude Code can answer questions about your orders and artwork from the terminal. It reads with your permission and never orders, pays or approves.

Steps checked October 2026.

Before you start

  • Claude Code installed and signed in on your computer.
  • A browser on the same computer to complete the sign-in. The connector is added on the computer you run the command on.
  • Your ProTransfers sign-in. The account you sign in with is the one Claude Code will see.

Add the connector

Run this in a terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http protransfers https://mcp.protransfers.com/mcp

Then start Claude Code and type /mcp. Choose ProTransfers and follow the sign-in prompt; your browser opens on a ProTransfers page.

Sign in and approve

If you are not already signed in to ProTransfers in that browser, sign in first. The page shows:

  • the heading Connect followed by the name Claude Code registered under, and the line that it is asking to:
  • View your orders — Order status, items, totals and tracking for orders on this account.
  • View your artwork and its print assessment — Artwork saved to this account, and what our analysis found about how it will print at a given size.
  • a notice that this connection will be completed by an app running on your own computer, and to continue only if you just started it yourself — you did
  • a line beginning You'll be sent back to, naming where you will land after you approve, and the account you are granting access to — click Not you? if that is the wrong account
  • the buttons Deny and Allow
  • the footnote You can disconnect Claude Code at any time from your account settings.

Click Allow, then return to the terminal. The connector is ready.

Try it

  • "What was my last order?" — Claude Code reports the order number, status, items and the estimated ship and delivery dates, plus the tracking number once there is one.
  • "Will my newest file print well at 12 inches?" — Claude Code reads the print assessment for that file at that width and tells you how it rates, and what would raise it.

More prompts, and what each one returns, are in What you can ask.

Disconnect

  • In Claude Code: run claude mcp remove protransfers. That removes the connector along with its sign-in.
  • On ProTransfers: open Account → Security → Connected apps and click Disconnect next to Claude Code.

Removing it in Claude Code stops Claude Code using it. Disconnecting on ProTransfers withdraws the approval itself, so do that one if you want to be certain, and do both to remove it entirely. Your orders and account are not affected, and you can connect again at any time.

If something's wrong

If Claude Code says ProTransfers is blocked by a firewall or a security service, it is not. That message means the connection was approved before a newer permission existed. Open Account → Security → Connected apps, click Disconnect next to Claude Code, then add the connector again with the command above. Removing it in the terminal alone does not reset the approval. Other problems — no orders, only some orders, artwork still being analysed — are covered in Troubleshooting.
