Connect other assistants

Connect Gemini, Perplexity, Mistral Le Chat, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code or Windsurf to your ProTransfers account by adding a connector at one address and signing in.

Any assistant that lets you add a remote MCP server by address and sign in with OAuth can connect to your ProTransfers account, read your orders and artwork with your permission, and never order, pay or approve. The steps below cover the assistants we have looked at; the sign-in and approval is the same ProTransfers page for all of them.

Steps checked October 2026.

Before you start

  • A plan that allows custom connectors. Each assistant's requirement is noted with its steps below.
  • Your ProTransfers sign-in. You approve the connection signed in as yourself, and the account you sign in with is the one the assistant will see.

Every assistant asks for the same address, in its own words:

MCP server address
https://mcp.protransfers.com/mcp

Leave any “client ID” or “secret” field blank. Your assistant registers itself, then sends you to ProTransfers to sign in and approve.

Add the connector

Gemini

At gemini.google.com, open Settings, then Connected Apps, then Custom apps. Click Add a custom app, paste the address, and click Next. The credential fields under Advanced features are not needed. Custom apps in Gemini are available in the US, to adults, on a personal Google account, in English. Add it on the web and it works on your phone.

Perplexity

On a Pro or Max plan, open Account settings, then Connectors, and choose + Custom connector. Pick Remote, give it a name and the address, and keep OAuth as the sign-in method.

Mistral Le Chat

Open Connectors, choose + Add Connector, then Custom MCP Connector. Give it a name and the address, and click Connect.

Claude Code

Run this in a terminal, then type /mcp inside Claude Code to sign in. The full steps are in Connect Claude Code.

claude mcp add --transport http protransfers https://mcp.protransfers.com/mcp

Cursor, VS Code and Windsurf

  • Cursor: add an HTTP MCP server with the address; a browser window opens to sign in.
  • VS Code: add an HTTP MCP server with the address; a browser window opens to sign in.
  • Windsurf: add an HTTP MCP server with the address; a browser window opens to sign in.

Sign in and approve

The assistant opens a ProTransfers page. If you are not already signed in, sign in first. The page shows:

  • the heading Connect followed by the assistant's name, and the line that it is asking to:
  • View your orders — Order status, items, totals and tracking for orders on this account.
  • View your artwork and its print assessment — Artwork saved to this account, and what our analysis found about how it will print at a given size.
  • a line beginning You'll be sent back to, naming where you will land after you approve, and the account you are granting access to — click Not you? if that is the wrong account
  • the buttons Deny and Allow
  • the footnote that you can disconnect the assistant at any time from your account settings

Click Allow. You are sent back to the assistant, and the connector is ready to use.

Try it

  • "What was my last order?" — the assistant reports the order number, status, items and the estimated ship and delivery dates, plus the tracking number once there is one.
  • "Will my newest file print well at 12 inches?" — the assistant reads the print assessment for that file at that width and tells you how it rates, and what would raise it.

More prompts, and what each one returns, are in What you can ask.

Disconnect

  • In the assistant: remove the ProTransfers connector from the same settings screen where you added it.
  • On ProTransfers: open Account → Security → Connected apps and click Disconnect next to the assistant.

Removing it in the assistant stops the assistant using it. Disconnecting on ProTransfers withdraws the approval itself, so do that one if you want to be certain, and do both to remove it entirely. Your orders and account are not affected, and you can connect again at any time.

If something's wrong

If the assistant says ProTransfers is blocked by a firewall or a security service, it is not. That message means the connection was approved before a newer permission existed. Open Account → Security → Connected apps, click Disconnect next to the assistant, then add the connector again. Removing it inside the assistant alone does not reset the approval. Other problems — no orders, only some orders, artwork still being analysed — are covered in Troubleshooting.

Any other assistant

If your assistant is not listed, it will still work as long as it lets you add a remote MCP server by URL and sign in with OAuth. Add a new connector, paste the address, and leave any client ID and secret fields blank — your assistant registers itself, then sends you to ProTransfers to sign in and approve.
