Getting Started
Upload your first artwork to ProTransfers and place your first order for custom DTF heat transfers in minutes.
Order custom DTF transfers from ProTransfers in three steps: upload your artwork, review the print simulations, and add to cart. Your transfers arrive pre-cut and ready to press.
Step 1 — Upload Your Artwork
Open the Studio and drag your file onto the upload area, or click to browse. ProTransfers accepts PNG, JPEG, WebP, SVG, AI, EPS, and PDF files up to 50 MB.
Your artwork appears on the canvas immediately. A progress indicator shows the upload, followed by a brief analysis phase where ProTransfers checks your file for print readiness.
For details on what each file format is best for, see Supported File Types.
Step 2 — Review Simulations
Once analysis completes, the simulation footer at the bottom of the Studio shows how your transfer will look and perform:
- Color reproduction — how accurately your artwork colors will print. A score and visual overlay highlight any colors that may shift.
- Print dimensions — the physical size of your transfer in inches or centimeters, shown with measurement rulers on the canvas.
- File details — format, color space, resolution, and transparency information.
Use the toolbar on the left to toggle overlays, change the canvas background color, or zoom in for detail.
For a deeper look at the color simulation, see Color Reproduction.
Step 3 — Add to Cart and Order
Select your transfer size and quantity, then add to cart. ProTransfers uses contour-based pricing calculated from the actual shape of your artwork, measured in square inches. The more you order, the lower your price per square inch.
Your cart syncs across devices — start on your desktop and finish on your phone. Saved carts let you store configurations for repeat orders.
See Contour-Based Pricing for details on volume tiers and how pricing is calculated.
What Happens Next
After you place your order, ProTransfers produces your transfers at a centralized facility in the center of the United States. Every transfer ships pre-cut to the exact contour of your artwork, ready to press onto fabric. Typical delivery is 2-4 business days.
